Book synopsis:

The people we love are thieves.
They steal our hearts. They steal our breath.
They steal our sanity.
And we let them.
Over and over and over again.

They say you never forget your first love.
Mine was a homeless musician who wandered straight into my soul.

He was my first everything. And fourteen years later, I still can’t get him out of my head.

He broke all my rules.
He also broke my heart.

I watched him climb to stardom, cheering him on from afar.
But I was never a fan; just a girl in love.

Like a tornado, he spiraled, leaving a path of destruction in his wake.

But love conquers all, right? It has to. Because here I stand, ravaged and ruined, needing it to be true.

You can’t go back, but I want to. Back to the park. Back to when he sang only for me. Before he was famous. Before he shattered my heart.

I thought I knew everything about him.
But I could not have been more wrong.

He promised me every tomorrow. And here I am, waiting.
And hoping.
Again.

Note: This is not a fluffy, light read or a swoony romance. It’s a journey of love between two people who can’t let each other go, even though they are far from perfect. It’s about loving someone who is struggling with mental illness and addiction and all the ups and downs that come with it. It’s about finding a happily ever after that works between two people loving each other the best they can with patience, understanding, and unconditional love. Not everyone will agree with this kind of love and acceptance – but it exists, and it’s real, and it happens every day.

My Review:

I read this book in just 2 days. This book is amazing and I just couldn’t put it down. I was crying at 4 am finishing this book.

This book is about Piper and blue. when they first met blue was a homeless musician and piper saw him every day at the park and they get to know each other and suddenly he broke her heart and left her and after years she listened to him on the radio and he became a famous rockstar, the story continues from here.

Craiana Cole knows how to write an emotional love story that will make you cry. Their story was heartwrenching and emotional, I loved every second of it. The way they loved each other and didn’t give up was beautiful. I was hooked from chapter one and Piper and Blue had such amazing chemistry.

It was a beautiful story of two people who need each other. This book also touched on sensitive topics like depression, drugs, and mental illness. Cariana said she’s writing now books for the other characters in this book and I’m so ready for it, I’m excited to know reece story. I think I’ll binge all of her other books because I loved this book and I loved Don’t Kiss The Bride.

✨✨✨✨

Trigger warning: Drugs, Depression.

Book Review: Don’t Kiss The Bride

Don’t Kiss the Bride

Book synopsis:

I guess you could say I was a damsel in distress, and he was my knight in shining armor.

But more accurately, I was a girl with a lot of bad luck, and he was a guy with a lot of muscles and tattoos.

Jude “Lucky” Lucketti wasn’t just a sexy, brooding construction worker. He was my own personal hero who seemed to be in all the right places at the right times. Like when my car broke down and I needed a ride home, and when I face planted on the sidewalk right in front of him and had to be taken to the emergency room.

Those weren’t exactly my best moments, but they were his.

We became friends, and it didn’t matter that he was sixteen years older than me. We had a lot in common—like our love of old rock music and vintage fast cars, and our aversion to relationships.

When he approached me with a crazy idea to help me out, I couldn’t say no.

The arrangement was supposed to be temporary. A marriage on paper and nothing else.

It should’ve been easy, but it wasn’t.

Because here I am, eighteen years-old, still in high school, and married to a man I was never supposed to fall in love with.

We had just one rule—no kissing the bride.

But we broke that rule, and it sealed our fate forever.

My Review:

I read this book in just 2 sittings and I haven’t done this in so long. This book is amazing and I just couldn’t put it down.

Skylar is a senior in high school and her life is just a big mess and her mother doesn’t care about her at all. and there is Jude a 34 years old man who has a dark past and a lot of guilt, one day they crossed passes and it’s all started from there.

I loved every second of this book, it was amazing in every way. Jude is an amazing and caring character, the way he helped Skylar get better mentally and physically was beautiful.
The slow burn in this book was amazing, I felt every emotion reading this book. At first, I thought that I’m not into age gap romances but this book changed all of that.

Skylar and Jude helped each other through tough times and didn’t give up on each other and It was a beautiful story of two people who need each other.
I’m so ready to binge all of Cariana Cole books now.
